Taylor Swift Makes History At The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards

Taylor Swift once again made history at the MTV Video Music Awards, winning an impressive nine trophies.
Swift had the most nominations for 2023 and entered the night with 14- VMAs. This launched her right behind Beyonce who has a total of 26-solo awards and Taylor having 23. Her nine wins were categorized by Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, Show of the Summer, and Album of the Year.
This also marks her 4th year taking home the “Video of the Year” award.
Swift was left speechless telling the crowd “OK. This is unbelievable,”, and thanking them for supporting her all the way through “I cannot believe that it was a year ago at the VMAs that I announced the Midnights album. And all I have to say tonight is thank you. I’m blown away. Thank you so much to the fans. I love you so much.”
Taylor Swift’s accomplishments have impacted the 2023 MTV VMA music awards tremendously and she will continue to impact monumental moments for the music industry.
